What the round is like
Two segments puts this at roughly once in every twenty-seven rounds, or three to four times an hour. The catches run from 4x to 200x and the larger fish need the crane, which is where the production earns its keep and where the pause before the reveal does its work.
The pacing is noticeably different from Lil’ Blues. Half the frequency means longer gaps, and the wider range means the results that do arrive vary more. Whether that reads as better or worse is a preference rather than a maths question.
Is it worth backing?
The interesting number here is the price. Big Oranges returns 95.60% against Lil’ Blues at 95.69% — nine hundredths of a percentage point for double the ceiling. That is the smallest step in the game and the best value move available inside the bonus routes.
Compare that with Huge Reds, where another doubling of the ceiling costs 0.43 points and halves the frequency again. If you already carry a bonus chip and want more range, this is the sensible destination. How the spreads price out.
