Bets and routes
- All Bonuses
- A shortcut bet placing a chip on all three fish routes at once. Convenient rather than discounted: three separate bets at three sub-96% returns.
- Leaf 1 / Leaf 2
- The two base bets, 23 segments each. Mathematically identical, never both winning, and the highest published return in the game at 97.10%.
- Segment
- One of the 53 divisions on the wheel. Forty-six are leaf, seven are fish.
Returns and cost
- Blended RTP
- The stake-weighted average return across a spread of bets. A Leaf base with a small Lil’ Blues chip blends to about 96.77%.
- House edge
- One hundred per cent minus RTP. The share of turnover the operator keeps over the long run — 2.90% on Leaf, 4.83% on Huge Reds.
- RTP
- Return to player: the share of total stakes a bet returns over a very long run. Ice Fishing publishes a separate figure for each of its five bets.
- Turnover
- Everything staked across a session, not the amount deposited. House edge applies to turnover, which is why round speed matters.
- Volatility
- How widely results scatter around the average. Leaf bets are low, bonus routes are high, and both can share a similar RTP.
The wheel and the round
- Leaf boost
- A 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x multiplier assigned to a single leaf segment before the spin. Pays that multiple of your stake, with the stake not returned.
- Live game show
- A casino format streamed from a studio with a presenter, where the outcome is drawn by a certified RNG rather than by the presenter.
- Round cap
- The maximum a single round pays regardless of multiple — 500,000 in table currency for Ice Fishing.
- Wheel multiplier
- A 2x to 10x value assigned to a fish segment before the spin. It scales every fish inside the bonus round, not your stake.
